Student Internship in Event Management

We are recruiting a student, under an internship agreement, to participate, within our Adventure division, in the organization of the 33e Les Écrans de l’aventure festival (from 1er to October 6, 2024):

Presented by La Guilde and the city of Dijon since 1992, Les Écrans de l'aventure is the meeting place for the best international productions, producers, directors, writers, artists, adventurers, and the general public (more than 15 spectators) . The festival offers screenings, exhibitions, activities, performances and workshops, to inspire the projects of tomorrow (100+ speakers and organizers).

You will assist the festival coordinator on all production activities with particular responsibility for “guest” logistics. You will also be involved in communication and all aspects of event production. The mission imperatively requires your presence in Dijon from September 30 to October 6, 2024. You will be responsible in particular for:

I) Logistics for speakers and guests (60 to 80 people)
  • Availability planning and agendas
  • Organization of travel, accommodation and catering
  • Updating databases and producing the welcome booklet
  • During the event, reception, orientation, assistance to speakers and guests
II) Production assistance:
  • Reception, management and transmission of production elements relating to the programming: selected films and books, juries, guests, various events
  • Coordination of service providers and partners
  • Budget monitoring and operational implementation
III) Event communication ahead of the festival:
  • Planning and publications on dedicated social networks
  • Updates to the site www.lesecransdelaventure.com

 

You bring us:

  • Initial training in event management
  • A keen sense of organization to optimize time and travel, arbitrate priorities, structure action
  • Editorial skills to communicate on our different media
  • Relational ease which will facilitate exchanges with festival-goers and festival partners
  • An appetite for lived and shared adventure

Compensated internship of 21 weeks including three weeks of interruption during the summer. Daily restaurant voucher worth €10 covered at 60% by La Guilde.
