In the village of Kambalidéni, since 2015 training in agroecology has multiplied with the support of the FIIMBA Group, the Professional Training Center in Agroecology of Sampiéri and AVAPAS (Association for the Popularization and Support of Agroecologist Farmers in the Sahel ). Since 2018, an ecosite has been set up incorporating all the techniques of agroecology. With the construction of a water tower, a group of women set up market gardening activities which have developed strongly and whose productions are eagerly awaited on the local markets which are still lacking in vegetables. In the search for autonomy, they received training on the selection of seeds and would like the construction of a building to store them and also to store their productions. This project has been emulated by another women's group, the Tin Findi Cooperative, located in the same village 2 km from the water tower. They have obtained a plot of 3600 m2 in a lowland and want to do rice growing there in the rainy season and market gardening in the dry season. For this they express the need for a fence for the land and the construction of a borehole which, in addition to crops, will supply the population of the district (400 people) with drinking water.
