Francophonie mission manager

THEAlliance Française of Ambatondrazaka is an association under Malagasy law created in 1977 and recognized as being of public utility.

Its mission, common to all Alliances Françaises, is to:
• Develop the teaching and use of the French language;
• Promote knowledge of French and Francophone cultures;
• Promote diversity and dialogue between cultures.

As part of the Alliances Françaises network in Madagascar, made up of twenty-nine other institutions, the association offers French courses, official French exams, access to a media library and cultural activities (notably during the week of French language and the Francophonie or the music festival).

Made up of a team of 17 employees and volunteers including 9 part-time teachers, the Alliance Française d'Ambatondrazaka welcomes more than 1 registrants each year.

 

Project

 

The volunteer will be supervised during his/her mission by the Alliance Française governance team and the national coordination and will perform the functions of “Francophonie mission manager” of the Alliance Française of Ambatondrazaka.

Within the Alliance team and in close consultation with the Board of Directors, made up of French-speaking personalities with varied profiles, the Educational Project Manager will be able to put his/her skills and dynamism at the service of development. of this establishment.

 

Mission

 

The mission is part of the development and proper functioning of the Alliance Française d'Ambatondrazaka. Reported by the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) and/or the management team,

 

Planned activities:

  • Propose new courses (written, oral workshops, professional communication, etc.) in conjunction with the teaching team;
  • Propose activities within the Alliance Française based on the French language and Malagasy;
  • Strengthen course marketing, with the aim of increasing the number of French learners;
  • Propose a diversification of the Alliance's educational and cultural offerings through so-called socio-cultural projects;
  • Media library: contribute to the book and animation policy by promoting the technological tools available to the Alliance and setting up activities highlighting the French-speaking world through books;
  • Continue, under the authority of the PCA, collective commitment to the Quality Approach and validation of new criteria.
  • Develop and implement projects to promote French language learning, particularly in school/public establishments that are partners of the Alliance
  • Support cultural projects

 

Training 

  • Bac + 3 in the field of culture, communication, cultural management, FLE, animation…

 

Experience

  • Experience in Madagascar or other expatriation experience would be a plus

 

Languages

  • French

 

Required qualities

  • Writing and oral fluency in French
  • Sense of organization ;
  • Excellent relational and adaptation skills;
  • Good general culture
  • Dynamism and availability;
  • Motivation, curiosity, responsiveness;
  • Autonomy, taking initiative;
  • Taste for teamwork and cross-functionality;
