The project led by the association La Balle Aux Prisonniers (LaBAP) aims to resocialize minors incarcerated in the Observation Centers for Minors (COM) in Côte d'Ivoire. To rebuild ties with their families and facilitate their social integration into the communities after their release, the association organizes sports activities during their detention. Sport, and more particularly football, is also used to improve the mental and physical health of detained minors. In addition, LaBAP ensures the implementation of the necessary reforms in order to respect the fundamental rights of the child. detained with national authorities and pleads with international and regional bodies for sport and the promotion and protection of human rights for an integrated approach to sport and development.
