The Screens Outside the Walls, season 23/24, episode 1: Dakar

The best of the Screens (re)hits the road: Saturday February 24 at the headquarters of the association L'Empire des enfants de Dakar, premiere for the 23/24 season of Screens Outside the Walls.

The time of an afternoon beyond borders, the film Desert Biosphere was screened to the children supported by the association, before an exchange with Caroline Pultz and Corentin de Chatelperron, from Brussels and Paris.

The association Children's Empire carries out humanitarian action in favor of children in street situations. Over the years, more than three thousand children have been returned to their families. Children trained in fields as diverse as painting, arts and crafts, gardening…

An action supported by Eurogerm.

Desert Biosphere – youth prize at the Les Écrans de l’aventure festival

To develop a living ecosystem that produces water, energy and food, Caroline and Corentin experimented with all its contours for 120 days in the heart of the Mexican desert, in a wild, hostile environment without fresh water. The Biosphere project is the result of ten years of exploration around the globe in search of low-tech solutions. Objective: to shape healthy, sustainable, accessible and desirable lifestyles. A quest in the face of the expansion of arid environments.
