Benediktus is a community where people with and without intellectual disabilities live and work together. We are a member community of L’Arche.
Objectifs
United in the mission to create a world more inclusive for all, we are a community where people with and without disabilities discover their gifts and benefits to the society, and thus transforming profoundly their wider surroundings. It’s a tremendous challenge but also so much fun!
Actions
Volunteers live in a community together with people with disabilities. The meals, laughs, the chores of the house are all shared in a family setting. They will get a beer together with people with disabilities, attend a Mass, play the ball… Volunteers help with their personal care. They also work in the workshops or the garden and participate in community or cultural events and assist in their preparation. No qualification is necessary, but motivation and openness towards others.
