For the integration and insertion of displaced persons from Artsakh in Armenia
La Guilde, with the support of the Agence Française de Développement, is launching a specific call for microprojects in Armenia, following the arrival of over 100,000 displaced persons from Artsakh in Armenia.
Thanks to the mobilization of the government and the outpouring of solidarity from Armenian civil society, displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh have been able to benefit from emergency shelter and food aid. We now need to enable these populations to remain on Armenian territory, and to provide development aid aimed at integrating displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as supporting the Armenian population.
Small French associations (less than €200,000 in annual resources) and Armenian ones (less than €500,000) with more than 2 years of existence are eligible for this call for projects.
These structures can apply for financial support ranging from 3,000 to 12,500 euros.
For actions related to the integration and insertion of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh in Armenia:
- assistance in welcoming displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh,
- relaunch and development of income-generating activities,
- training for professional integration,
- capacity-building for organizations (training, hosting volunteers – Service civique and Volontariat de Solidarité Internationale),
- agricultural development, food production and support of small farmers
Project applications and reporting procedures are simplified and dematerialized on the website: Portail Solidaire.
Associations can benefit from the support of a contact person based in Armenia to help them submit their application, as well as the expertise of the Microproject team. Applications will be examined by La Guilde’s Microproject team and by external experts. The decision will be announced one month after the closing date of the call for projects, February 28.
This call for projects also aims to strengthen links between French and Armenian organizations, which are invited to develop partnerships at this occasion.
This initiative is supported by the Agence Française de Developpement to the amount of €100,000. The Guild will present certain micro-projects to other partners (funds and foundations) in order to broaden financial support.
